Posting Error: "There is no Gen. Journal Line within the filter"

Using the "Recurring General Journals" screen within BC, I am trying to post recurring entries which have been posted every month for the past year without issue. I posted some about two weeks ago as well without any issues. Starting yesterday when I tried to post some of our existing entries I received the below message:

2526.Capture.PNG

I've checked the open posting periods, as well as all of the fields that we normally need to have completed, and they are all correct. I've also tried posting entries from other batches and "Entity Codes", and also created new recurring entries, and still encountered the same error message. We use BC along with MEM (Multi Entity Management) so not sure if it's the MEM piece that's causing the error.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

    Hi,

Thank you for posting your question on Communities.   This is Bryan and I'll try to help you out with this one.

If you are concerned it may be the MEM Extension, then what I would suggest is get a copy of this company and save it to a Sandbox.  But this must be done in a Sandbox first...

First, recreate the error again to verify you still can.
Then in that Sandbox, uninstall the MEM Extension, or/and any other extension you think may be causing this issue.

Then retry your steps.  If you no longer recreate the error, then you will need to contact the Extension Publisher.
    Thanks,

    Bryan

    BM,

A few things when creating Recurring Journals:

    1. The posting process compares the working date against the posting date, and will not post
if the posting date is after the working date.

    2.Change dates:

My Work Date is 3/1/21 in my Sandbox so I set the Posting Date to start there.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Steve
