How to use IDs in error messages?

Hello all,

I'm pretty new to D365Sales (usually just worked with D365 Business Central) and I was wondering how to use the IDs in the error messages? For example I received the following error:

Principal team (Id=7e5f210b-76dd-ea11-a813-000d3ab401b6, type=9, teamType=0, privilegeCount=564), is missing prvReadprorm_project privilege (Id=875830fc-6fc1-4e97-b7a4-02061b084d6f)

Is there a way to use these IDs to guide me to the right prinicpal team/privilege?

Regards

Erik

    Hello,

The easiest way from my perspective is using of Browser Extension like Level Up - it has "open record by id" feature. You click it, enter schema name - in your case it'll be team and copy-paste guid over there - and done, you are navigated to the record behind the Guid.

Privilege is slightly different - seems that mentioned team doesn't have privileges to "Read" entity prorm_project. In order to do that check what security roles are assigned to that team and either modify one of roles modifying the privilege of one of roles or create a new role and grant that privilege to that role and assign that role to a team.

    Hi,

I would recommend you to check Security Debugger plugin in xrmtoolbox -
