How to Select Lookup as Default Value For Display in Field Form

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi, I am new in D365 so I would be really appreciated if anyone could help me. Basically, I got a field Name "Account" and a Lookup for it. How can I select the Account and then show the "0000001" (Account Number) instead of "Account 00001 for Guest" (Account Name) as Default Field display value. Would i able to do that? If yes, how do i able to do that?

Objectives : instead of this like picture below , I want 00001 as Default Display Value

    Hi,

You can open your default lookup view of account and move the Account Number to the front of the Account Name column.
