Hi

We are implementing Dynamics 365 Finance & operations. Our test environment version is 10.0.39

I see that the Human resource is included there. Some questions related to it:

1. With my F&O base license am I able to use the entire HR module?

2. For my HR colleagues what kind of license I need to purchase through my EA agreement?.

Hi Naushad,

With base licenses such as Finance or SCM, you can use small parts of Human Resources, mostly only for registering employees. If you need the full Human Resources functionality, an HR license or HR attach license (if they also need Finance or SCM) is required.

You can find more information in the Dynamics 365 Licensing guide that can be downloaded from the Microsoft site.

The issue is that there is a minimum quantity of 5 licenses that I have to procure for HR module to be accessed in production.

Hi Naushad,

The minimum of 5 depends on the agreement type and other Dynamics 365 in use. This is not always the case. You can contact your partner for more information.
