Change UI Language + Dummy Data

Hi,

I am using the test version of MS Dynamics 365 Marketing. Now, I got the test version in German and would like to set it to English.

This would really excel my learning experience as all learning material is only in English available.Unfortunate, English is not a listed UI Language Option .

I tried get hold to any support. Trying to find such on Microsofts web pages only leads to a new page not to a contacts....

Second, would you know, where to get dummy data for testing the software?

Hi Tincho,

1. You could open settings page via link:

https://.crm.dynamics.com/main.aspx?settingsonly=true

apply English in Settings > Administratiom > Languages

This process could take up to an hour, then you'll see new added lanugage in drop-down list:(previously there was only English in my environment)

2. Would your dummy data be equivalent to sample data?

If so,

step 1: run Marketing setup wizard to update the application to the newest version.

step 2: add sample data in Settings > Advanced settings > Other settings > Sample data management.

Thanks Clofly,

I have tried ur suggestion and probably this is working on a paid version. However, on the trial I cannot choose English.

As for the sample data .. that worked fine. Thank you!

Hi Tincho,

Do you mean English is not available in language options?

You could do these steps temporarily:

1. Change your Windows language to English.

2. Change your browser to English.

3. Change language to English in office.com or admin.microsoft.com.

My requested trial version is English with these configurations.

Hi Tincho,

I have changed my browser to german to test.

I found that MS only checks our browser language, and I asked trial in this link:

https://dynamics.microsoft.com/en-us/get-started/?appname=marketing

Then after I clicked Anmelden I was navigated to following page:

There is a language optionset to select a specifc language as base lang for Marketing application.

Finally the new instance is default to English:

So if you can't go to this page, then change your browser language to English to test again.

Remember to clear browser cache for each new trial registration.
