Solution Import Error 8004023B

I've receiving this Error Code 8044023B (under See History) when trying to import a managed solution in our production environment.  In addition, the following error message just appeared: /The imported solution and the existing solution must both be managed for upgrade.  The solution created in our Sandbox was exported as /managed/ and imported as /managed/ into our production environment.  Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!
