Extended support for SL

As Microsoft  is ending mainstream support for SL on January 9th, 2024, we are trying to figure out what “extended support” includes and have a few questions:
  1. Will the loss of Microsoft SL support revenue negatively affect the BREP? 
  2. How will Microsoft take into account that the sales numbers will change due to SL coming off mainstream support?
  3. If a customer continues to pay annual maintenance for SL, will they be entitled to the transition licensing discount offered for BC?
  4. Most clients are choosing to not renew their SL Enhancement Plan because there is no value to it.  Does Microsoft have any information sheets as to why a client should continue to pay for their EP?
