Hi,

Thanks for the post of accelerated depreciation info.

I did the normal monthly depreciation journal and tried to change the amount of depreciation to make WDV as zero. It seems the system not allow me to change the amount of depreciation. The message pop up - Dimension value XXXX is suspended, anyone can show me the light?

Accelerated Depreciation

Hi,

Can you tell on what form you did try to change the amount? What exactly do you mean with the abbreviation "WDV"? If you are in a journal to post a transaction for a fixed asset and you get the dimension value error, then the amount change is probably not the issue. A dimension value as been put to the suspended state. You either must activate the value or change the dimension value on the journal line.
