Seeking "Finance and Operations query syntax" examples from "Advanced filter or sort"

Hi All:

I'm looking to create a view where the Financial Dimension Vendor is not = to the Vendor on the released product:

The Microsoft document for Advanced Sort and Query only provides 1 example

First, I'm looking for the correct syntax for above /query/, but would also like to find a document with many syntax examples of the Finance and Operations query

Thanks!

Paul

Exclamation point (!) is the character representing 'not equal to' in a filter query.  Here's the list of special characters for AX and F&O - Advanced filtering and query options | Microsoft Learn

    Hi Paul,

Your requirement is not possible to achieve using the advanced query syntax. The dimension fields are virtual fields for the query, but the syntax is not aware of it. It would require a customization to achieve it.

Thanks Andre, OK, so no way to do this with out a developer.

Does anyone have examples of syntax for what I have highlighted above?

I have the advanced sort/filter documents, but they do not have "Type a Query as a SQL statement):

((Accountnum LIKE "US*")  &&  (DirPartyTable.name LIKE "Cont*" ) is the ONLY example
