We have exchange rate setup as from AUD to USD
The exchange rate on the transaction line level is still having the other way around from USD to AUD.
Is there anyway we can have it consistent from AUD to USD?
It looks correct to me. If 1 AUD is 0.71 USD, then 1 USD is 1.40845 AUD.
If you want something else in the journal, then your problem seems to be about the journal and not about exchange rate setup.
Thanks Martin,
The conversion is correct.
However, we want to it being 0.71 from AUD to USD.
Because sometime we want to change the line exchange rate, eg to 0.705.
If based on current setting, we will have to work out 1/0.705 and put that figure in the exchange rate field.
Hi Aaron,
When you have enabled the new grid control in feature management, you are able to put online calculations. Then you can enter 1/.0705 in the exchange rate field and it will calculate it. See: docs.microsoft.com/.../grid-capabilities
Otherwise, you can consider a customization to add an edit method on the grid which will shows and manages the exchange rate based on the reciprocal value.
Hello Aaron,
Have you checked out what Andre suggested (online/grid calculations).
Wouldn't that fix your issue?
Best regards,
Ludwig
