Hi all,

currently I am working on importing csv file in table of ax 2012 .

I had written a class to import file . when I run that class manually ,data is imported from that file .

later on I had written a dialog to select file path ,and pack & unpack method .when i run that class and after setting reccurence gets d infolog as "The  job is added to the batch queue." . bt in batch jobs , m geting the status as waiting only . means my class s not executing with dat job . So ny1 have ny idea that where am i missing something.

First of all, consider using the Data import/export framework instead of trying to writing again what it already can do for you.

If you want to continue with your batch, tell us whether other batches work.

May it happen that your batch job is run in a batch group, which is currently not "linked" to any AOS?

    Hi Martin,

I had done importing using DMF n excel add-ins . and m good in importing data using excel add-ins. but now my superiors wann me to learn importing using batch job . So I am doing it for practice purpose.

    Hi Sasha ,

is there a way link that batch group

    DMF uses batches too.

Regards batch groups, open batch tasks, switch to General tab and change the value of Batch group field.

But if batches don't work in your system at all, changing a batch group will likely make no difference. That's why I asked the question (that you haven't answered).

In AX 2009: Administration > Setup > Server configuration > Tabpage: Batch server groups.

Don't have AX 2012 at the moment, so maybe the path has changed.
