Updating Existing Contact from Lead Qualification in Dynamics 365

Hello Community,

When qualifying a Lead in Dynamics 365, and if we want to qualify the lead based on an existing Contact in Dynamics, is there a way to also update certain information on the Contact record as part of the Lead qualification?

For example, if the Lead record has an updated phone number compared to the phone number on the Contact record, can we make it such that when the lead is qualified, and an existing contact record is selected during the qualification process, the phone number field on the contact record gets updated as well?

Is that possible out of the box? Or do we need to implement workflows to achieve that?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

    Hi partner,

    We will use workflow to achieve it.

    Here is the steps.

    1) Create a workflow, select Entity to Lead.

    2) Select Scope to Organization, select Start When to Record status changes.

    3) Add Step: Check Condition. Set it as follow.

    4) Add Step in Condition: Update Record, select update: Parent Contact for lead. Set Properties as follow.

    5) Activate workflow.

    Can some explain high level how to do this w a flow? Any drawbacks w null records or need to handle in flow
