Error Message "No record found in the Item/Version Price per cost group table .....

Hi to all

Error message: "No record found in the item/Version price per cost group table.  Transfer a cost price for this item"

This message stop me from posting a PO or SO when some of our item are selected, but not all of them.  Is something missing in set up for these item and how do I know that from which table?

I tried to update the "Base Purchase Price" and "Base cost price" under Tab Price/Discount in Item Details, but does not work.

Your help is greatly appreciated!

    Hi.

I have investigated this issue thoroughly. The simple solution is stated as below:

    1. Remove the lines from INVENTITEMPRICE table for respective item(s) and their Inventdimid where PRICECALCID = '' (i.e. is blank) with respective Costing Version.
    2. Recalculate the cost.
    3. Activate the calculated cost.

Although it is very old thread, but still preferred to update as a reference for any recurrence.

    Best regards,

If you can reproduce in a test environment, try activating all your logistics configuration keys (in Admin module).  I think I recall getting a similar error once, until I activated bom-versioning (even though no BOMs or Produciton orders were part of the design that project).

    Hi Bob

Thank you very much for you response.  However, it is not because of the Cost Group set up but Costing Version set up. I went to the Item Price, changed from Pending Price to Active Price for that Item and it worked.

Your Idea is a great help for me to find out the solution.   Thanks for your help again!!

    Hello,

Have you assigned a cost group in the item details general tab?  If you go to the main table, it will take you to the cost groups.  From there you can setup inventory postings using the posting button.

    Try this.

    Regards
