Hi All,

I am upgrading from Ax 4.0 to AX 2012 R3. I run  "Import .aod files into the new model store" checklist in code upgraded. once process is completed, it's get log file in the path ("C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics AX\60\Server\<Instance Name>\Log").

I see that below error is displayed in log file:

"Error:   The Enum element with the name Affix and ID 50001 could not be imported because an element with the same name but different ID already exists."

Please help me ,how to resolved it.

If there already is an element called "Affix", maybe you don't need to import it at all.

Or maybe they're completely different things with a name collision, therefore you should rename your enum before importing.

You can't have a single element with two different IDs.

    Hi Martin,

Sorry for late reply but I have found that this element comes after imported "UpgradeAX4.xpo" in AX 4.0 and it is inbuilt in AX 2012 R3.Can I skip it? Please advice

I think that this .xpo is used later for data upgrade. You shouldn't try to upgrade it; it shouldn't be in your source system yet when you start upgrading code.
