What exactly are you referring to as reminder - emails?

We can send email using a power automate as shown below with slight modifications:

    cloudblogs.microsoft.com/.../

If however you are using outlook then the reminder will appear automatically based on time of appointment.

Unfortunately there no OOB way to show a notification (like outlook) in D365.

The preferred way is to create a view for task and appointment and put them on a dashboard which the user can see once he logs in.

D365 allows popup messages using javascript but then those are event-driven and not time-driven.  So having a reminder popup won't be feasible.

Thank you as there is no OOB way, so any customizations available to get notifications.

You can get it as form notification at record level - something like this:

    www.inogic.com/.../

At record level, you also write a JS to check for task and show a popup message.

But you won't be able to get it on the home page of D365.

    Hi there,

As getting reminder notification is not OOB functionality however you can user enable Outlook app for your crm application. All of activities such as Task, Appointment will get synced with outlook and user will get reminder notification as well in Outlook, using outlook native feature.

Kindly refer below link from MS for D365 app for outlook

    Hi Alok,

Thank you for your suggestion above. We have activated the Outlook connector with Dynamics 365 Sales, but when I create Activities for myself in Dynamics, I do not see them in my Outlook tasks nor in MS ToDo. Is there a setting we need to change in the Outlook connector ? Thank you

    Raphael
