I have captured traces using Trace feature in Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations.

Now when I open Trace parser desktop version in the cloud hosted development environment, it asks me to register with database. I don't want to register with a database, I just need to analyze captured traces ETL files using the trace parser. So how can we analyze captured traces using the trace parser available in the development environment?

    Hello Muhammad,

When you first launch Trace Parser you’ll need to register a database for the application to use. SQL Server doesn't need to be installed on the same computer as Trace Parser, but when you launch Trace Parser for the first time you’ll want to be logged in as a user that has rights to create a database for it to use.
