Best GP Resources and courses online?

I'm looking to learn Microsoft Dynamics GP. I come from a Salesforce admin background and now work as an IT manager in the manufacturing industry. I want to understand how do reporting through dynamics. How to run reports. I can understand Salesforce but even though its similar, dynamics feels like an entirely different beast to me. Are there any online classes that would be perfect for a beginner with dynamics, but good for someone who already has an understanding a decent grasp of the concepts of database management? It would be most appreciated.

Thank you,

Megan

Welcome to the GP community. I don't have any specific class in mind, but I would recommend checking out the GP User Group community, GPUG. There is a paid membership (which is definitely worth the cost) but there are free resources available as well. You can explore webinars and other training opportunities by roles and skill sets as well, which I find very helpful. Hope this helps.

Totally get where you're coming from. Transitioning from Salesforce to Dynamics GP can feel like stepping into a whole new world. Luckily, there are some great online courses out there that cater to beginners while still offering valuable insights for those with a background in database management.I'd recommend checking out platforms like Udemy or LinkedIn Learning for courses tailored to Dynamics GP beginners. Look for ones that cover reporting and running reports specifically – that should help you bridge the gap between your Salesforce knowledge and Dynamics GP.Oh, and speaking of courses, I recently came across this cool one on Negotiation that you might find useful, too. It's all about honing those negotiation skills, which could definitely come in handy in your role as an IT manager.
