I understand that adding options to this menu is not currently available - any idea if hiding/removing options would be possible or is it the same answer.

Have you reviewed the URS extensibility guide? Also since that menu would be part of existing code/logic, you cannot (or should say) should not alter it to allow another menu item. You can Extend URS but you should not alter or add onto existing code as urs will fail during an upgrade. As such, I don’t believe you can alter that menu to add an item.
