Help please. I couldn't find documentation on adding new filter under Cases. The only available filter for Team is view my team's resolved cases

You will have to create new custom view in Case entity and add that view in Model Driven App using App designer.
Check below link on how to create view.

You need to create a view for that specific entity in this scenario its Case entity
