Email Body content move to Azure Blob

Has anyone in the UK running Dynamics Sales seen Dataverse email body content move to Blob storage as described here https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/developer/data-platform/email-activity-entities#email-storage? If this is applicable to Dynamics Sales, this seems to be delayed for us (scheduled for May 23)? Can anyone from Microsoft shed any light?
I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

Based on the documentation you provided, and our search for information, we understand that a change begins in May 2023 and is expected to last 6 to 12 weeks for existing customers.

As for the specifics of your Dynamics 365 sales in the UK. I would recommend that you contact Microsoft Support or your Service Administrator for the most accurate and up-to-date information. They should be able to provide more detailed information on the timeline and status of this change for your specific organization and region.

When Speaking with Support, they advised they could not provide specific timescales for our organisation (case 2311160050001901) just that it would eventually happen with no further information

    Hi there,

I am Tanisha Jardim from Connecting Software. Unfortunately, it is not certain when this will be implemented. I would recommend contacting Microsoft directly, but I see you have not received any answers from them.

If you are facing challenges with your D365 storage capacity, you might consider a third-party out-of-the-box solution like Connecting Software's CB Dynamics 365 Seamless Attachment Extractor. It can automatically move attachments and email content from Dynamics 365 to an alternative storage, such as SharePoint, Azure File Storage or Azure Blob Storage, thus reducing the load on your Dynamics 365 database. It is the only solution on the market which keeps your documents within your environment – security guaranteed.

If you would like to learn more, you can visit our page. You can also request a free trial or a live demo with one of my colleagues from our website so that you can then decide for yourself if it fits your needs.

    All the best,
    Tanisha
