Unable to run setup.exe

Hi,

I run "setup.exe" within the package of Dynamics AX 2012 R3, but nothing happens. what is the relevant setup procedure of it?

    Please verify if you are clicking appropriate setup file

    consider restating your machine and then run the setup

    Validate if you are installing Dynamics AX 2012 R3 on correct operating system

    Please verify and update us with your findings

    Thanks. Is AX 2012 R3 being supported within Win 2012 server, or not? what do you mean by "Restate the machine"?

    yes Windows 2012 is supported for AX 2012 R3

    please review system requirement document, whether everything is fine.

    please download the document over here

    please verify and update is with your findings

    Sorry, when I run setup.exe in that. It re-directs me to open autorun.hta, through Visual studio. why?

    autorun,.hta will provide you the installation wizard from the beginning

    and your installation will be smooth

    But it only opens autorun.hta, within Visual studio, and no other wizard comes out!

    Hi Huamin

    Check if the autorun.hta file is associated to the HTML Application host.

    So, right-click on the autorun.hta file, select Properties, click on change Button and select the application "HTML Application host"

    If is missing, browse the disk and choose "%systemroot%\system32\mshta.exe"
