For reference, this discussion was started in an old thread about AX 2009, Is there a tool avaliable to review Dynamics AX X++ code?.

Visual Studio offers such a tool out of the box (under Analyze > Calculate Code Metrics), but unfortunately Operations projects aren't supported. You may request the feature at ideas.dynamics.com.

Alternatively you could try to find a tool that calculate metrics in CIL, although you must take into account that compilers may generate CIL quite different from the original source code. Such things happen a lot in languages like C# (when it generates a lot of CIL for simple async method or iterator blocks, for example), but it's much less common with X++. On the other hand, a simple X++ project may end up in a large .NET assembly, especially if we're talking about overlayering. And I don't know if there is any tool calculating metrics of CIL.

The third option is analyzing X++ and calculating metrics by yourself.
