RE: Top manager in hierarchy unable to see themselves in the leave and absence calendar
Thanks Parag for the reply... I will try and get more screenshots as the system is now used internally and I am not the one with access (sensitive company info)..
However, the scenario is as follows....
1. The Top manager (MD) has been placed on the top of the hierarchy under the organisation (legal entity), thus any structure under him, should be visible in the leave and absence...
His position has been set and activated: Position activation 01.01.1993 and As he has no position above him, the name of the superior/manager is blank but active from the same date as well
His direct team in the hierarchy is set and the rest of us belong to the hierarchy + all are assigned the same leave and absence programme...
The issue when clicking on the absence and leave calendar, the MD can see the team and organisation but not himself.
I am aware, that there were some threads reagarding the approval of leave and absence for top managers. Has anyone faced the same issue or what is the standard/best practice in setting D365HR leave and absence for the Managing Director or CEO level?
Thank you
