Automatic import of bank statement from share point folder

I would really appreaciate if some one could explain how automatic import of bank statement from share point folder is configured once the feature is enabled

Hi,

Are you referring to the new features that will be released in October of this year, please check out the documentation for details: Import bank statement automatically | Microsoft Learn.

Prior to this update, Microsoft only supported manual bank statement uploads, and users needed to set up their own batch jobs and use a middle program such as logicapp to implement the need to automatically import bank statements.

Unfortunately, Kevin's link is just a generic description of the feature.

To set this up, you need to set up Import document from Sharepoint in D365 first. Here is the link for it: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/dev-itpro/analytics/er-configure-data-import-sharepoint?context=%2Fdynamics365%2Fcontext%2Ffinance#configure-er-sources-for-the-er-format.

Then when you enable this feature, when importing statement, you will not need to use Browse to navigate to the statement file.

I am getting errors on the import batch job and still investigate.
