I have production order for the finished product (xl.fr) that has BOM consists of 2 raw material (xl.up=4, xl.ftp=4).
The raw material (xl.up) has tracking dimension "serial number".
When I try to post the pick list journal for the production order, I face a problem with item (xl.up) because of serial number because the quantity is 4 in one line in the picking list journal so I can't insert 4 serial numbers in one line and when I try to divide the line to 4 lines to insert the serial numbers, the picking list journal is posted successfully but when I try to make "Report as finished" I find error message says that the raw material (xl.up) not released completely!
I don't know why this error message appears although I posted the picking list journal for the complete required quantity!

On the picking list journal line, try using Inventory -> Pick or Inventory -> Reservation to assign the four serial numbers to the line.

You can tick 'Accept error' when you post the Report as Finished, or you can ensure that you ticked 'End' on the picking list journal lines before you posted the picking list (this informs AX that you do not intend to consume any more of the item).
