Running Depreciation for a Month That Has Already Been Run

Hi:

Let's say that, in Calculate Depreciation, you run depreciation as of 01/31/2022 for one specific asset.

Further, let's say that you run Calculate Depreciation as of 01/31/2022 but you do not select any specific asset.

Will the module re-run depreciation on that "first" asset that you had already run depreciation on for January?

Thanks!

John

If you already posted the depreciation, it will skip the posted one. BC looks at the last depreciation date.

If you haven't post the depreciation and you run it again, it will create depreciation journal for that asset again. You can end up having duplicate in your journal.
