Not able to create/send email in dynamics 365 when distributed campaign activity having "dynamic" marketing list

Hi,

Not able to distribute campaign activity when associateed with "Dynamic" type marketing list but able to distribute campaign activity(create emails) when I copy same marketing list as "Static". Even not able to see any erros message/notification about failure.

Please suggest.

    Ok, I'll wait for your feedback.

    Do you mean activity emails are not send for leads in dynamic marketing list which is associated with a campaign?

    If you could share me more details about your issue, I would get more clear direction on reproducing the issue.

    I'm just having issue with "Dynamic" marketing list while distributing campaign activity, evertything works fine when used static marketing list with same members. Can you please help me on this.

    Below are my steps:

    1. I created a Dynamic marketing list and it targeted at Lead.

    2. Create a new Campaign record.

    3. Add the dynamic marketing list to the campaign activity.

    Could you share your steps?(Screenshots with issue would be helpful.)

    And I'm not clear about your step 3.(what's "channel email"?how did you send it?)

    Thanks Clofly for your response. I'm not familier with Customer Journy.

    Let me explain it in more detail -

    I need to distribute campaign activity(send marketing emails to leads), so I'm following below process -

    1. Create "Dynamic" marketing list of Leads.

    2. Create Campaign -> associate created marketing list with campaign

    3. Create Campaign Activity for channel email from given campaign and distribute it. - (email should be created for all the leads available in Marketing list but no email record is getting created.)

    - When I use "Static" marketing list instead of "Dynamic" markeing list it works as expected i.e. emails are getting created in d365 but same is not working in case of "Dynamic" Marketing list.

    Hi Nilesh,

    Does "distribute campaign activity" mean add a marketing list into customer journey?

    If so, dynamic marketing list couldn't be used for customer journey.

    You could take below table as reference for different usages of marketing list.
