MS Dynamics POS error "Index was outside the bounds of Array"

Hello,

Please help me with this issue, when i try to close the shift on POS ; it has the error that says ""Index was outside the bounds of Array" and so i cannot close the shift . PLease suggest a resolution for this concern.

    Hi,

    Check your <dimension_name>.xls file

    1. Make sure the worksheet title is “MEMBERS"

    2. Check the header, make sure the captions are not accidentally overwitten

    Hi,

    Upgrade tools to higher version or download SQL 2012 Management studio and use that to open the server.

    Please, open Event Viewer on POS machine and check error details there. Full stack trace is important to understand from where error comes.

    Hi Mohsin,

    To get a clue please check event viewer logs as suggested by Oksana.

    Additionally, 

    1. Restart SQL once and see if it works.

    2. It seems that cache needs to be cleared, refer:

    community.dynamics.com/.../ax-2012-r3-retail-pos-clear-all-existing-transactions-from-the-pos-db-cdx-server-cdx-client

    Hi,

    Did you check if there is any data available in the ax.currency table in Channel DB. If not, this could be the issue, try running 1000 job again for the store from AX and then it should resolve the issue.
