    Hi Adam,

In the source data format you need to select the dimensions Department, Cost center and Purpose (this latest dimension seems to be not setup in AX2012). If you have done that it would probably mention CostCenter-Department-Purpose as it will order alphabetically.

Then you need to concatenate the values from AX2009 into one column. For the example you provided it will be:

"0201-030-". (This is in the order AX expects it according to the source data format setup.

During the staging to target step, AX will translate it to the new dimension tables.

Capture12334.PNGCapture12334.PNGHi Andre Thanks for your Reply.Actually My problem is in Source data format ax 2009 I have three fields 1.ProjOnAccTrans).Dimension[1] 2.ProjOnAccTrans).Dimension[2], 3.ProjOnAccTrans).Dimension[3] but in Staging i have only one field default dimension. Here my question arises which field i need to map?

    Hi Adam,

If you don't have a source value for the default dimension field, you can just leave it as it is now (unmapped).

If you need to import dimensions as well, you need to define this in the Source data format and include one new column in the soure containing the value(s) in order it is mentioned in the Source data format.
