Creation of legal entities

Good Morning,
To start in a production environment, do I need to create the legal entities in addition to "dat" or would "dat" work as one of the legal entities?

You have to always create a new entity to create data in the system.

There is some purpose for DAT company and you can read below.

If I understand correctly, the first thing when creating a production environment from scratch is to create the legal entities and leave "dat" empty?
