I want to stop using javascript and start using typescript on my forms (Dynamics Online)
However, I´m not sure about Microsofts recommendation about this? Is there any?
Would you consider it safe since to use - since we don´t know how popular typescript will be after 5 years? It might be deprecated.
Do you see any drawback of using typescript?

Regarding getting deprecated - I don't think it will be deprecated.
