Hi,

I have an AX user F.Oxley.

I have an employee Felix Oxley with an email address test@gplan.co.uk

I have set up an email account (we are running in a hosted environment).

When I run the Outlook Setup Wizard it shows me the Worker and Employee name so that I can confirm they are correct

I then select "Use current Microsoft Outlook profile" and confirm that I want to use the 'Outlook' profile

AX then reports: "The Microsoft Outlook profile e-mail address test@gplan.co.uk is different from the employee e-mail address ."

I cannot see why this is!

Any suggestions?

    I guess that that there is no e-mail for the user (in SysUserInfo table).

    I agree with Martin.

    Check if you have email configured under the User > Options screen.

    Thanks - you are both correct. It was that easy!

    In my defence the error should have said "... different from the USER email address".
