Another data source Grid in system parameters

Good morning ,

I am trying to add grid in System parameters.

In Grid the data source is my customized table.

Step - 1 - I have created one new table.

step - 2 - Added the created table to sysparameters (form using extension)

step - 3 - Added custom tab and added action pane and group in that i added one grid and gave the newly added datasource to grid datasource.

But i am getting only 1 record in grid.

I am not even able to create new  record in the Custom action  pane (created in step - 3)

Should i relate with parameters table ?

Please show some light on this.

    No you should not relate it with parameters table.

    How many records are in your table (= how many records do you expect to see in the grid)?

    Please check following properties in your data source:

    1) AllowCreate (should be Yes if you want to allow creating new records)

    2) AllowEdit (should be Yes if you want to allow editing of existing records)

    3) InsertIfEmpty (should be No if you don't want the system to automatically insert one record in the empty table).

    What do you mean by "I am not even able to create new  record in the Custom action  pane"? Can you share more information about this? Is there an error message? Is the New button grayed out? Something else?

    Hi Nikolaos,

    Thank you once again for the reply.

    I just compared vend parameters in that number seq grid .

    I just solved this with this check list.

    1.Form Data source - Property - Link Type - Passive

    2.We must use pattern to group (Toolbar and list ).

    3.Must provide Data source Property - For Group Created.
