Dynamics 365 Business Central - Customer Card > Payments > Print Statements checkbox has no effect?

Dynamics 365 Business Central - Customer Card > Payments > Print Statements checkbox seems to have no effect. Desire to have some customers not receive statements, yet when I uncheck this box, and run Customer Statements, Statement still prints.  Operator error? or is there an issue with the checkbox?

    I'm having the same issue, it doesn't appear to make any difference.
