Dear Experts,

Can I kindly ask you the below?

I am exploring workflow and have one curiosity.

While selecting the assignment type= workflow user, I can see three options are coming in the workflow user page, I have the questions as follows (only for number 3)

1: Workflow originator= I know this denotes who submits the workflow

2: Workflow Owner= I know this is coming from workflow setup (owner options from basic settings)

3: Work item owner= Who is this? where can I setup this?

Kindly assist.

Hi Ramit,

The work item are workflow-related tasks that are assigned to the user, so the user is the work item owner: docs.microsoft.com/.../respond-to-work-items-in-a-workflow

You can see the owner from the workflow history.
