Error in control add-in

Posted on by 2,576

Hi all,

I am working on digital signature in nav. I have selected the control add in and the public key token in the field which i created in my page. But the triggers are not getting recognized. I am getting an error saying that:

Could not load type

'ControlAddIn;PublicKetToken=...'

Kindly suggest how to solve this

first check if you've gone through all steps in

    msdn.microsoft.com/.../dn182584(v=nav.90).aspx

the control addin name in the control-addins list page should be the same you set in the .net controladdin class/interface attribute. it's case sensitive! differences will end in not working.

    Hello Tina,

Please make sure Add-in Name,Category in navision.

And also check whether it is dotnet dll must be in server folder (C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\100\Service\Add-ins) and also add it in control add-in's.
