is there any option to disable the standard Entitlement expiration?
Currently the Entitlement will expire as soon as the EndDate is reach but I'm wondering if we could avoid this standard behavior when we have an Entitlement that should live forever.
No, there is no out-of-the-box option to disable the standard Entitlement expiration in Dynamics 365 — once the End Date is reached, the entitlement becomes inactive. Workaround:
Set the End Date far in the future (e.g., 12/31/2099) for entitlements meant to last indefinitely.
Optionally, use a custom field (e.g., "Is Unlimited") and modify your automation or validation logic to bypass expiration checks based on this field.
