Can you filter the start date column in Time-off requests?

Posted on by 281

Hi community,

Is it possible to filter the start date column in time off requests.

Currently, if our payroll wants to view a particular month that people will be away there is no way to filter this on the start date column. Is this possible?

I know I can open up the leave request v2 document and filter the year and month, but surely there is an easier and more user friendly way to do this?

Thank you

I don't think this is possible.

Please go through the below link for adding custom fields.

But start data values for the existing lines will not be updated.

You can use the newly created custom field in future entries.

    Thanks,

    Hi GirishS ,

how would I be able to chance that to a table level field so that I can filter on that page?

Then its display method - If its display method then you will not be able to filter that field.

If you need filter means then you need to change that to table level fields.

    Thanks,

    Girish S.

    Hi GirishS ,

The data filed seems to be empty:

Right click on the start date form control - Form information - Click on Form name: - Now you will be able to see the new dialog form opened - On the Administration tab - Check the Data field text box value.

    Hi GirishS ,

Apologies, if I am missing something. What do you mean by table level field/ display method?

When I click filter and add - this is what is shown:

Can you confirm that start date is a table level field or a display method?

    Thanks,

    Girish S.

    Hi GirishS ,

I clicked add button - and there was no start filed available.

Is it possible to add this in?

    Thank you

On that filter screen - You can click on Add button - After that form will display all the available fields.

See your start date field is showing or not. Also this filter will clear up after refreshing the url.

    Thanks,

    Girish S.
