Hello everyone, I'm having some issues while i try to test the network capacity on a client's web browser.
Microsoft said that i should add my URL organization + /tools/diagnostics/diag.aspx
So when i add it like that, the page is not opening and im getting web page not found.
Hi Mounir,
This question was about the diagnostics tool. I think this has been answered. You have another question for the performance issue. Performance issue Dynamics 365 finance and operations - Dynamics 365 Finance Forum Community Forum
Let's not mix up the threads.
A customer's FO system is running slowly. It's my first time troobleshooting performance issue, since i am a developer, not a solution architect, so i am trying to understand performance issue that i can handle on the system, since he's PROD environment is a cloud based managed by microsoft, I am trying these tools on my system but there is no issues since my system is not slow.
I need to prepare points to do on his system.
for now i will :
1. check his internet connection
2.environment monitoring
3.run performance test
4.reset data usage
5.do a trace parser on his system, then download the file and analyze it on my local VM
If there is more tools i can use such as check databaselog or batches, can you please help me with it, im finding diffuculties troobleshooting them.
You just mentioned that your FO system is running slowly, and I think there is room for optimization, whether in terms of hardware, or SQL statements, or load, maybe logs and other aspects of professional analysis.
yes i know about the performance timer, but what are the prerequesits to know if my system is having performance issues or not?
You can also check the Performance timer, which is a tool that helps you to determine why your system's performance might be slow.
To open the Performance timer, open your webpage with the added parameter debug=develop: yoursite.cloud.test.dynamics.com/.../
I'm still not getting how to count the maximum amount of load the application can accommodate and how long it will take before something goes wrong,
By monitoring user load and active load, you can count the maximum amount of load the application can accommodate and how long it will take before something goes wrong, and of course you can download the Raw information logs to see if there are long queries, deadlocks, and crashes.
thank you so much, but in health monitoring using LCS, under the environment monitoring AOS server, the user load and activity load, i am facing some issues on how to analyze. how i can know if there is performance issues based on user and activity load?
The following blog mentions the performance Tools with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations:

hello sir,
may you tell me what tool is supported for finance and operations in order to test the network performance since the system is very slow, i need to make sure if its from my network connection or not.
also if u can please provide me ideas if someone is facing performance issue, but the system is a cloud based managed by microsoft, so what are the things i can do to fix the performance from the system.
