I need to enable chat option in my field service between a technician and dispatcher

I need to enable chat option in my field service between a technician and dispatcher. If my technician go to customer and after inspection if it feels that wo can be taken care for today, he should be promptly ask dispatcher to schedule the wo. Once that is done dispatcher book the work order immediately. I don't want to use email thing in it, i want it to be very fast.  Any ideas on how i can allow this via some chat functionality

    This cannot be achieved with the default D365 functions. How about considering customizing using JavaScript? ??

    I dont think there is anything OOB that can handle instant messaging.

    There are several ways that this could be done:

    - Maybe have a dispatcher dashboard to show high priority tasks that need to be done

    - Phone call the Dispatcher directly

    - Use a Instant messaging service like MS Teams which is included in Office 365 license

    - Self scheduling. If the Technician can see they have time to complete the WO today then they could schedule the WO themselves?

    We don't have a chat solution as of today, but mid-term I would keep an eye on this: docs.microsoft.com/.../collaborate-within-dynamics-365-using-teams
