Hi,

For our organization we have purchased SQL Server 2012 Enterprise Edition and Dynamics AX 2012 R2 but no Sharepoint. Now while we look at the BI Capability we understand that Sharepoint BI or Sharepoint Enterprise need to be purchased to have Analysis Reports /  Powerview in it. Can someone confirm that we need to purchase Sharepoint license additional to SQL Server 2012 Enterprise to have the powerview on sharepoint so as to bring in the Role-Center? Please confirm

Regards

Sam

    Hi Samuel

Yes, you have to purchase Sharepoint Enterprise edition for have Powerview or Powerpivot features.

Alternatively, you have to use Office 2013 Professional PRO. Only Pro edition have the Powerview or Powerpivot features.
