View counter for custom entity

Hi all,

I am hoping you can help me! I have a custom entity (FAQs) and I want to be able to see how many time each record is being accessed (so that I can see what are the most commonly asked questions).

I cant find a way to do this in CRM and I even looked at powerautomate - but I cant find a way to trigger the flow based on a record being opened (and not modified in any way).

Surely this should be reasonably simple...?

    Hi gingerclaire,

    The easiest way is to use JS. Whenever the form opens add + 1 in your counter column. This will give an analysis for a record and the sum will give an analysis for all the table.

    I should have specified I am a beginner at this, so have no experience of using js in dynamics...
