Applying CU with Azure SQL

I have a database on SQL Azure with a 2016 CU4, and i want to apply the Cumulative Update 6
When i open the database with the dev environement (in order to convert it), i have this message :

The xxx database on the xxx server must be converted before you can use it with this version of Microsoft Dynamics Nav Development Environment.
You must convert the database before it is deployed to a SQL Azure Server

How do i deploy my CU ?
I try with 'Invoke-NavDatabaseConversion', but with no success
(and i do not want to retrieve the database in my local server, convert it and send it again ...)

This problem occours because the master db on Azure SQL is readonly and the NAV upgrade process checks the master db. From NAV 2017 (I dont remember from what CU now) this problem never exists (the master db is not checked).

I had the same issue and what I did was retrieve the DB to local server and then do the upgrade and then upload it back. Since you do not want to proceed that way I will check is there any other methods available to do the database conversion without taking to local server.

Are you able to convert your database to newer CU from your development environment?
