Hey there,
We're using the Attract module, but can't find the delegate role to be working. What is the goal of this role and how should it affect the "Delegated to you" list on the homescreen (see screenshot).
The reason I'm asking this is because we want to create a better overview in the homescreen, a good solution would be to use the delegate feature, but we can't get that to work right now.
Hi KasparV,
I can't see the screenshot you said. Please check it again.
Delegates have the same privileges as the person who designated them. You can add and assign the role for the user as the delegate in the hiring team tab when edit a job.

Hey Qian,
Thanks for the quick response. I found that documentation and I know about the privileges/rights part. The thing we have is as follows:
- We have a lot of recruiters assisting in jobs
- We want to have those recruiters in those jobs to be able to have the same rights as the primary recruiter
Also, we want to have a good overview of their primary tasks, but also provide insight in the jobs they are delegates in.
Aka: if we add someone as a delegate to a job, we want that to reflect on the home screen, see the screenshot (I have attached that now here and in the original post).
You shall have to add those assisting recruiters as delegates as well in Dynamics 365
That way they would get the same privileges as the designaters.
The 'delegated to you' list can only show the activities that hiring manager or the recruiter designated to you.
Hey CJustin,
Thanks for the answer. I know this part (the way it assigns the same roles/permissions) The main thing I'm looking for is getting the overview to work (see the attached screenshot):
Could you elaborate please? What's the difference between "assigned to you" and "designated to you" in that overview?
The "assigned to you" means all activities that you need to complete.
The "designated to you" means the jobs or activities that recruiters or hiring managers designate to you.
Thanks for the quick response. Let me rephrase my question: how would one designate a job or activity to someone? Because if I add a colleague as a delegate to a job, he/she does not get jobs or activities in the "delegated to you" overview.
Hi,
Did you add the delegate in this form?
Yes I did. I tested this with a colleague and now the delegated to you overview does show all the candidates that they should see. I think this may have been not working in the past, but it's working now! Thanks for the help :)
