Web Page Form in DAX R3 vs IE Full App

Hello,

We have an issue concerning viewing a web page. When the form control is clicked to open the view web form, a window pops up (the form controls are set to use "Microsoft Web Browser" and we can see the web page however some functionality is not working(however if we select use default browser, it will POPUP IE and everything works but that won't work for our workflow so that is why we don't just use that option). If we browse to the same website using IE 11 outside of DAX all functionality is present. I am not programmer nor am I a DAX expert. I am looking for some general direction here. What is the difference between the full browser and this web form that is displaying the web page?

The page we are navigating to is not DAX EP, it is a web page on our internal network.

Hi Rich,

If the form can display e.g. a JPG image, then it could be related to the file format which might not be supported, but not sure...

Hi Andre,

The web form is trying to display a picture using Scalable Vector Graphics.

Hi Rich,

Theform control is not designed to run web pages supporting all types of java script or plug-ins etc. The intention is to show images, documents, etc. Can you provide more information about the web application you are trying to host within the application?
