Can`t login to Guides - App is missing in Power Platform and no roles for Guides for my user

Hi together, I bought a License of Guides and i already assigned my user to Guides in Office365. I can`t see the app in the power platform and i can`t see the roles. When i try to login to guides, by Hololense or PC, a message shows up that i don`t have the permission. Does anyone know how to fix it? Cheers, Marco

Hi MarcoSch2142 - to help narrow down possibilities, can you confirm you assigned the license including selecting the three apps (Common Data Service, Dynamics 365 Guides, and PowerApps for Guides) as described here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/mixed-reality/guides/setup-step-one? This apps are described toward the end of the page.

After that is the solution setup as described here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/mixed-reality/guides/setup-step-two. You mentioned you cannot see Guides in the Power Platform. If you were not able to complete all steps, can you pinpoint where you got blocked? Thank you for posting and hopefully we can get you unblocked ASAP.

    Dear Dave,

thank you for your quick reply.

I was able to assign the license to my user. I have bought one license and have still the trial version. So in total 26 licenses.

After i stuck here in the installation of the Dynamic Guides:

Guides is not listed in my system. I have chosen an existing environment where i also use Dynamics Remote Assist and the CRM.

    Please see below the entries:

I also tried to go to admin area as mentioned below:

Unfortunately, this Dynamics 365 Icon is not shown in my system:

    Do you have an idea?

    Thanks for your great support!

No worries and thank you for sending the screenshot of the user licenses in admin center (your first screenshot). Can you go back to that screen then keep scrolling down below the Licenses section - you should see a section called Apps. Unfortunately the Apps section is not obvious. Once you find it, tap the arrow as highlighted below to expand the section. Here is what it looks like on my account:

    pastedimage1600243290191v2.png

Make sure the three apps below are selected:

    pastedimage1600243550232v3.png

If any are not selected (full blue color), then select them now and try to proceed with step 2 of the instructions (you may want to allow a little time for the settings to sync up). But if they are all selected, I will ask our engineering team in the morning (USA time). Hopefully you will find an unchecked box to fix the issue sooner. I look forward to hearing your results...

Thanks Marcos, check one last time - if you still don't see Guides, then create a support ticket so someone can look directly at your account. You can initiate a support ticket through the admin center or support.microsoft.com/.../support-for-business. If you get blocked opening the ticket, let me know.

    Thank you very much.

The app is still not shown.

Therefore, i will send a ticket. If i click on the link you mentioned i see the following picture:

    pastedimage1600316964217v1.png

So, i have to make a ticket in the power platform. If i click there on "new support request" then i see this:

    pastedimage1600317131074v2.png

If i click on "See solution", no solutions will be shown. It seems i can`t send any ticket for Dynamics Guides.

Previously, i have solved already an issue by creating a ticket but for another subject.

Do you have an idea how i can request a ticket.

Hi, have you assigned to 3 roles on this page?

    Hi,

i tried to assign the roles. The problem is that the roles are not shown in the list.

No worries. Let's go offline for a moment so I can collect some basic details (I am sending you a private message on this platform). Once we solve the problem we can report a summary back here for future readers.
