Deposit Money Customer

Hi,

In our retail division mostly times happens some customer comes to our shop and he choose the product and he need additional item for this product he said keep the money but this is not full amount and he will come day after tomorrow so by this reason our cashier keep the money but he will not exit the item with system so we need any option just deposit the money behalf of this customer and when he comes to shop then i will call this amount ...after i will choose the product then system will show rest amount ....

You can use the sales order functionality at POS. You can select the product and the overide the deposit on the sales order for the amount that is given by the customer. Then recall the order and complete the transaction. You can create a service item and overide the price for the deposit amount and then later replace the item with the actual item.

when i tried as you said ...i select the customer after i choosed the product after i will go to deposit overide option then this error is coming '''This Operation is not valid for this type of transaction""".....please tell me ..Thanks

Hi Shadab,

You will have to create Customer order in order to use the deposit override feature.
