Hi guys! My name is Giovanni and I'm working with Dynamics Ax 2012, especially in the WMS. May I ask you something about post on Blog MSDN That's the link: blogs.msdn.com/.../manual-packing-functionality-in-warehouse-management-available-in-ax-2012-r3.aspx I've followed all the instrunctions, but, on the figure number 9, I can't find the list of the items so I can't choose any of them. Hi Giovanni,

First of all welcome on this forum. For the Packing workflow you first have to do some steps by creating the sales order. (between picture 6 and 7). If you are using the standard AX 2012 R3 demo data, it is recommended to use product which are WMS enabled. Not all items do have the storage dimension group which is correct for WMS in R3.

Possibly your problem is related to the use of items which are not having a storage dimension group where the 'Use warehouse management processes' field is enabled.

Hi Giovanni,

I suggest to create a location type Pack, and an LP controlled location profile ID Pack.

In WHS parameters set packing profile/type = Pack. (In the code there is a mix up between location profile and location type, so if you use the same id "Pack", there is no problem )

In the location directives make sure that the items are put in a location with the same location type and location profile id as defined in the WHS parameters, packing location profile.

Create a new pick work, and finish picking. Now the packing station should show the items.

Hi,

I have a SO:

1 line--> item:GC002 qty: 2PL

2 line--> item GC-Var qty:3 each

2 continer for my item

My Location directives:

WORK--> The first line my work is close

The second line i have the prolem with my mobile device, AX don't put in Loc 500-Pack

Hi,

I would pack my products, but I have two problems:
1) The container closes automatically, just do it with the mobile device Outbound> Sales Picking.

2) In the first line, the work is closed, while the in the second line, the mobile device gives me error
