Hi,

I've installed the newly released AX2012R3 Contoso image and it works great... Except the fact that the server is shutting down all in the sudden without any obvious cause.

Anyone got any idea? Any setting in Windows server that needs to be configured?

HI Daniel,

There can be some causes if you did the setup on your own laptop or a on-premise server. How many CPU cores and how much memory has been allocated? Can you tell me if the discs has been setup with SCSI or IDE controller?

Also are you using Hyper-V or another product for running this machine?

In the past I had a similar problem due to not well copied machine on my harddrive.

Today I run my virtual machines on Azure, which works OK for me.

I suggest you to review the Windows Event Log for error or message which will help you find the root cause.
