    Hi,

the batch job is scheduled to run 18:00 GMT+4.

If your user's time zone setting is GMT+1, then it actually runs 15:00 your time.

Perhaps this explains it. At least it's the first thing to check.

    Hello,

But batch job should use AOS server's system time or it uses timezone on the AOS server of the user who created this batch job?

    Thanks.

The batch job uses the time and time zone that are specified in the batch schedule.

So if it says 18:00 GMT+4, the job will be executed 18:00 GMT+4.

This is exactly why the user must specify the time zone when setting up the batch. Then it means that there's no question about time zones, instead the schedule tells exactly when it must be executed.

OK. But what time is used to determine different time zones? I have 18:00 GMT+4. Where and how ax understand when to start? There must be some time to rely on as I get it

18:00 GMT+4 is an absolute timestamp. No logic is needed for determining when to run it.

No matter where in the world you are, 18:00 GMT+4 will be at the same moment.

ok) but anyway there must be some mechanism how the system understands this. Maybe there is some troubles. Anyway utc+4 and gmt+4 are absolutely correct for the town where this batch job starts and timezone on AOS server is also utc+4. So still that's strange

Yes, the system knows what time is it and uses this information to run the batch jobs. This is based on the time on the AOS server. The timezone of the AOS server has no impact on anything since - as mentioned - the system deals with absolute timestamps, not relative.

Anyway, the batch history shows the times in your user's time zone. What is your user's time zone? Could you please share a screenshot where we can see it? Thanks!

Maybe it was rescheduled somewhere else after the initial scheduling? I'll try to rescedule.

    Thanks.

No, please check your preferred timezone in your AX user options (not your Windows options).
